Property Sales Administrator

MOV8 Real Estate are recruiting for a Property Sales Administrator to work in our busy Property Sales team. You will be based in our office at South Gyle, Edinburgh. The team environment is fast paced and professional and they pride themselves on providing an exceptional service to customers throughout the property sales process.

The Role

Your key responsibility is to provide first class advice to the client and prepare all necessary information to advertise their property. Working closely with our New Client Team, Valuers and in-house Photography Team you will gather all of the marketing information and produce high quality and accurate property schedules. You will ensure that all relevant information is uploaded accurately and stored on our database. You will log and manage client keys as well as carry out occasional viewing appointments. You will be responsible for liaising with our external suppliers to order home reports and carry out necessary administration for advertising portals.

The office environment is extremely busy and during peak times you will support the Property Sales Assistants with incoming enquiries via email and telephone. You will arrange viewing appointments and assist the team to follow up those appointments to receive valuable feedback. You will assist in coordinating the viewing agent’s calendar and inform the viewing agent of any urgent changes to their day.

You will work in a fast paced property sales environment and receive individual and team-based bonuses for successfully generating leads and promoting products and services to our customers. Some of these include developing leads for our valuation and mortgage advice teams as well as driving revenue for the company and for our valuable clients.

The Candidate

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who enjoys writing, researching and has a genuine interest in property. We are recruiting for an individual who has a natural desire to go above and beyond, has great communication skills and enjoys liaising with the general public. Previous office based experience in a customer facing role is essential.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience within an administration role with an ability to multitask;

  • Superb written and spoken English skills;

  • Close attention to detail; excellent organisation and planning skills;

  • Excellent customer service skills;

  • A positive approach to teamwork;

  • Experience working to tight deadlines;  

  • Excellent IT skills (including typing);

  • A good telephone manner;

Highly Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • A degree or similar qualification;

  • An interest in creative writing;

  • Previous marketing or advertising experience;

  • Local property market knowledge;

  • A proven track record in working towards sales targets.

Remuneration Package:

The starting salary is £17,125 per annum pro rata plus bonus. Hours of work are 09.00 - 17.30, Monday to Friday. Every four weeks you are required to work an 11.00am to 7.30pm shift. Occasional weekend shifts are allocated on a rota basis. You will receive a monthly bonus based on hitting weekly and monthly targets as well as for generating leads for the business. You will also receive 30 days annual leave per annum and a statutory pension contribution.
